How do I set a price alert in MT5?

Steps to set a price alert in MT5 (Desktop):

1. In MT5, go to the Terminal panel at the bottom.
2. Click the Alerts tab.
3. Right-click and select Create.
4. Set:
   • Symbol: The instrument to monitor.
   • Condition: e.g., "Bid > 1.0950" or "Ask < 1.0900".
   • Action: Sound alert, email, or push notification.
5. Click OK.

The alert fires once when the condition is met and becomes inactive. Re-enable it if you want repeated alerts.

For push notifications on mobile:

• You must link your MT5 Desktop to your MetaQuotes ID.
• Go to Tools > Options > Notifications and enter your MetaQuotes ID.
