What happens to open positions during maintenance?

Open positions are not closed during standard maintenance windows. Your trades remain active on the MT5 server while the platform interface is temporarily unavailable.

Key points:

• All open positions and pending orders remain intact
• You cannot place new trades or modify existing orders during the window
• Margin requirements and equity calculations continue normally on the server
• You can log back in after maintenance to view your positions

Important:

• Stop loss and take profit orders remain active on the server
• If a margin call occurs during maintenance the system will process it automatically when you reconnect
• Do not worry about your positions disappearing during the downtime
